Description

This object is a faint HII emission nebula located in the constellation of Cygnus at a declination of +48 degrees. The bright star in the center of the image is 32 Cygni.

For being such an interesting object, it amazes me that there is no published information on it. Amateur observers say that it is an HII emission nebula, but I have never seen an emission nebula with such well defined arcs/shock fronts. It certainly looks to me like a supernova remnant. This object looks very similar to another Cygnus object, NGC 6960, which is a SNR with a similar bright star (52 Cygni) at the center.

I also took OIII subs but they did not result in enough signal to add to the image.
