This image is the sum of 343 60 secs unguieded subs taken during the night of the 17th of may 2022 from my home terrace. Imaging train ws Newton Orion USA 250 mm F 3.9, Omegon Coma Corrector, QHY268M camera, Primalucelab UHC filter on top of an Ioptron CEM60EC. Aquisition and processing with Astroart 8 (crop, gradient removal, noise reduction). This night was not so good, due to a lot of satellite traffic (see versione b with images with satellites only) and other incoming lights (almost full moon didn't help as well). Maybe some of my neighbour decided to turn some lights on. Color version and a mosaic with ngc 4631 is on the way.

NGC 4656/57 is a highly warped barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Canes Venatici and is sometimes informally called the Hockey Stick Galaxies or the Crowbar Galaxy. Its unusual shape is thought to be due to an interaction between NGC 4656, NGC 4631, and NGC 4627.The galaxy is a member of the NGC 4631 Group. A Luminous Blue Variable in "super-outburst" was discovered in NGC 4656/57 on March 21, 2005. (wikipedia)
