Description

Started widefield imaging after completing the RC images (The system is piggy backed on the RC and I didn't want to mess with dual imaging.. so only one scope images at any given time).

The E130d+QHY294 gives a smallish FOV compared , so against my instinct, I started a LRGB mosaic. Every time I do this, I end up having gradients that prevent a good blend.

This one is actually shot on 2 days.. with about 2.5 hours per panel without moon and I was pleased to see it blended very well (out of GradientMosaicMerge).

Next step is to try and see if I can get lucky with RGB data and get a decent merge.  Posting this now since it may be sometime if I manage to get the data (moon growing and weather is unstable)

Total integration time is:
L - 28x5 mins per panel
