Animals and geography all in one.... here is about 3 1/2 hours of exposures of the North American Nebula (NGC 7000) and the Pelican Nebula (IC 5070). These giant emission nebulas in Cygnus are actually one big nebula with a dark band of interstellar dust separating them. About 2500 light years away (think you are looking back in time!), the “North American” part was pretty clear to me.
