Description

Omega Centauri is the largest globular cluster in our Milky Way Galaxy in the Constellation Centaurus approximately 17000 light years away.

Other galaxy's can be seen particularly NGC 5206 and PGC 47003.

I had to crop the original image due to my stars being oblong at the edges. The reason for the star distortion was due to the distance from the OAG to the camera due to the large CL-10 filter wheel. The MMOAG can not be right up against the CL_10 due to the focusing knob. Having y time again I would buy a traditional Filterwheel. There was a large amount of vignetting and the stars at the edge were being distorted. I have since removed the OAG and gone back to a Guidscope. The stars are now round.
