Description

This faint tiny planetary nebula is located 11000 light years away in the constellation of Puppis at a declination of -33 degrees.  It is a magnitude 18 PN which spans 40 arc-seconds in our apparent view, corresponding to a diameter of 2 light years.

Like many PN, the outer rim is stronger in HII.  This is another PN which has a hint of a hexagon shape to the outer rim.  I could not find a progenitor star in the nebula.
