OK- the title is bizarre but very accurate.

Uwe (Deutermann) first posted his beautiful image of the planetary nebula (PN) SH2-200 using his Williams Optic New Fluorostar 132 and then suggested to me to try it with my C11" EdgeHD, which I did and posted as well. This is a faint PN, making it a relatively difficult capture, especially in LP skies. Yes- winter is better than the unbearable summers in Florida but certainly not close to ideal. Thus, the idea to image it in the first place was a bit crazy and then we doubled down on crazy by combining our data, which we present here. To our surprise, we were extremely pleased with the outcome. This exercise actually turned out to be a lot of fun as two guys who only live 2.5 hrs apart but have not met in person yet due to the pandemic, have nonetheless developed a wonderful rapport through Astrobin to team up to try something new and exciting.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
