Description

Another dark nebula made with a stock crop sensor DSLR! I'm very proud of it!! Imaged in the last days of July, I was not expecting to get this huge amount of nebulosity after all. I had gradients toward the south direction as it is where the closest city here is. This was also my first time properly reducing noise, something I didn't use to do before.
Conclusions made with this imaging session: longer subs aren't ideal with a DSLR, even in lower temperatures. Using 240s gave me a greater noise threshold than 180s. So I am going to use 180s from now on. Even though I did not use dark frames at all on this shot. I may shot them on a fridge and post a revision. I'm sure the noise will be a bit lower with darks.

Criticism, tips, and opinions are always welcome in the comments! Always willing to improve as much I can.
