Description

I have been battling the clouds for several nights and only have 4 hours on this target to show for the effort, despite having a dual rig in play. I was planning on about double this integration. On three nights I started with a relatively clear sky, only to have clouds roll in. So I decided to process what I have and hope for better conditions soon.

This is our old friend the Pelican Nebula, shown in HOO. I selected it for a first test of the combination of the Star 71s and ASI 183s, kit I have not previously paired. The 183 pixels are well matched to the 71s, and small enough to provide good resolution.
