Description

The dominant object (roughly center) is LBN 37 - also known as Sharpless 2-33 (and MBM 38, molecular cloud roughly occupying the same area). Distance estimate for LBN 37 / Sharpless 2-33A is approximately 358 light years. A larger, dimmer LBN 36 is to the left. A single galaxy with redshift distance estimate (CGCG 023-004, also known as PGC 56472) is near the right edge. Also there are many background galaxies in this image field. These objects and some of the brighter stars are shown in the annotated image. Horizontal FOV is about 85'. Image resolution on the full size image is about 1.82 arcsec/pix.
