Description

The Leo Triplet is a small group of galaxies about 35 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. This galaxy group consists of the spiral galaxies M65, M66, and NGC 3628. Under NGC 3628 you can see some sort of a tail... In my opinion it happened because of interaction with M65 which also has some swirls on the top of it.

Distance to Earth: 35 million light years

Number of galaxies: 3
