Description

Sh2-112 processed in The Hubble Pallet.

-  Sh2-112 is a diffuse Emission Nebula in the Constellation Cygnus and lies about 5,600 LY from Earth.

-  The nebula is illuminated by an intensely hot, young star seen at the center (BD+45 3216). The star has about 30x the mass of our sun and radiates strongly in ultra-violet.

-  It’s not far from the North America Nebula, but twice as far away from Earth.

-  I'm dubbing this one "The Flying Ant."

Thanks, Eddie
