Description

m94 of 13.04.21 - 430 60 secs unguided subs taken with an Orion USA 250 F3.9, a QY183m, an IDAS LPS2 filter, on top of an Ioptron CEM60EC.

Aquisition, stacking and some processing with Astroart (star rounding / gradient removal) - remaining process with PS (cosmetic).

From my site it seems that I need more integration in oroder to show properly the outer ring.

Messier 94 (also known as NGC 4736) is a spiral galaxy in the mid-northern constellation Canes Venatici. It was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1781, and catalogued by Charles Messier two days later. Although some references describe M94 as a barred spiral galaxy, the "bar" structure appears to be more oval-shaped. The galaxy has two ring structures. (Wikipedia)
