Description

Barnard 150, a.k.a. Seahorse Nebula, is a distinct dark nebula in the constellation Cepheus.  It is estimated to be approximately 1200 ly from Earth and spans about 1 degree in length.  The nebula sits in a rich star field, which makes its obscuration of the star light behind it even more noticeable.  Moreover, less dense and patchy molecular clouds surrounding the Seahorse are noticeable in this field-of-view.  I hope you enjoy my rendition.
