Description

This Astrobin Debut Object is a spiral galaxy located 150 million light years away in the constellation of Cygnus at a declination of +54 degree.  This galaxy spans 1.4 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 65,000 light years.

The details of the galaxy structure are difficult to see and understand in my image.  The arm structure seems fragmented, possibly with a ring around the core in the mid-disk region.

The Milky Way star field here is bright and colorful.
