Description

My first take on the nice and funny asterism "The Coathanger" which was first described by Persian Astronomer Al Sufi in 964 in his "Book of Fixed Stars". In 1931 Swedish astronomer Per Collinder included it as Collinder 399 in his catalogue of open clusters. Recently it was discovered, that the coathanger is not an open cluster. (Source: Wikipedia)

Just below the coathanger you can spot the small open cluster Collinder 400 / NGC 6802. The left side of the image features  the dark nebula vdB 128.

Clear skies
