Description

IC 410 is commonly known as the Tadpole Nebula. Absolutely nobody can figure out why . It is parked about 12,000 light years from Earth in the constellation Auriga and spans about 100 light years across. It is ionized by the young, 4-million year old star cluster NGC 1893 in the center.

This image contains about 23 hours of narrowband exposure time to capture the details of the emission nebula. I added a few wideband exposures to capture the natural color of the stars.
