Description

These are two small galaxies: the first spiral and the second with barred spiral, located in the constellation of the Triangle, at a distance of about 8 Mpc from the Earth. They are about 85,000 light years apart and interact gravitationally.

Shooting carried out once again remotely with Carmelo Falco who friendly made available his equipment located at the Gal Hassin International Center for Sciences in Isnello, on the Madonie.

Shot in LRGB with single 120 "exposures (+ calibration file), reworked by me with PixInsight.

Optical instrumentation:

RC 40cm, Andor Apogee Aspen CG16M camera, Adaptive Optics.
