Description

I imaged this over the last few weeks from my backyard. I was planning to get more data on it (as always) but received a reducer for my EDGE that I plan to test out, so I decided to finish this one up with the data I had and move on to a new target with the reducer.

This galaxy strikes me as one of the most beautiful galaxies in the night sky. Not sure why, but the dainty arms and subtle colors and dust lanes just stand out to me. It almost looks like an "eye" in the sky.
