Description

This image a of the UMa Messier most famous doublet is another field test, after a fashion, of the new Photon 150, HyperCam 533c and GEM28. I have yet to nail down the exact spacing between the CC and the camera and figure out how the primary cell is responding to day-to-day variations in conditions over the imaging sessions. I also have yet to make mind up whether to use an L-Pro or not. That would simplify spacing. As half-way solution I'm also trying using a Astronomik Luminance filter.

2 versions presented here, needed to tackle what I believe are issues with PI handling of the camera, specifically the colour calibration. raised the issue with Pleiades, let's see were it goes...

At any rate, one has a stronger red casting in the body of Bode's galaxy while the other shows a more neutral tone. Your pick...
