Description

Recently Picked up Charles Bracken's Astrophotography Sky Atlas where he lists the entire Sharpless Catalog created by Stewart Sharpless in 1959.  It's an interesting product because he lists several other less known catalogs along with some of the more popular ones.  His goal is to offer and highlight objects that are worth pursuing visually for astrophotography.  The Sharpless collection is no exception.  Most of the listings are in our Milky Way Galaxy and are rich in nebulosity. In this image, there are two Sharpless objects, SH2-112 and SH2- 115 just above and to the left of Deneb.  Both are emission nebulae.   I used a SW Star Adventurer Mount with a Canon 6D Mark II and a 200mm f/2.8 lens. Stack of 70 Exposures were 26 seconds each and ISO 12800.
