Description

H 3-75 (also known as Haro 6-75 and PNG 193.6-09.5) is a tiny planetary nebula in the constellation Orion. At 31 arc seconds this is without a doubt the tiniest target I have ever attempted, and a real challenge for 6-inch aperture scopes.

The outer halo around this planetary nebula was discovered by the Galactic Planetary Nebula Halo Survey (GPNHS) team (a collaboration of some of the world's best astrophotographers led by Sakib Rasool) in January 2019.
