Description

The Carina Nebula (catalogued as NGC 3372; also known as the Grand Nebula, Great Nebula in Carina, or Eta Carinae Nebula) is a large, complex area of bright and dark nebulosity in the constellation Carina, and is located in the Carina–Sagittarius Arm. The nebula is approximately 8,500 light-years from Earth.

Second time I've imaged Eta Carinae. First light with my new HEQ5 Pro mount though.

I think my polar alignment is way off (correction, I know it's way off) and the DSLR lens has massive coma issues which weren't apparent before.
