Description

Although not what we'd hoped for, this is a passable first attempt at this difficult target. This is a special object to me (Tim) because one of the first deep-sky pictures I ever saw was a picture of M104 taken with the 200-inch Hale telescope at Mt. Palomar in about 1962. That inspired my interest in astronomy at a very early age, so I'm personally very happy to get any kind of picture of this thing. We'll continue to try for this until we get it right.
