Description

M97 - The Owl Nebula.

Planetary nebula in the constellation of Ursa Major, about 2,030 light years away.

Due to the poor weather, I've been reprocessing more of my old data. Originally taken nearly 2 years ago, I was amazed at how much extra colour there was that I'd not seen before. I also managed to enhance the very faint halo that surrounds the nebula. Definitely one to revisit with more exposure time!
