Description

Mare Cimmerium (Final)

Mare Cimmerium from Mars Global Surveyor

My third and final attempt at the red planet for October. (-:

10/20/20 from 10:13 PM to 11:24 PM PST.

This is 10ms 640 x 480 frames at 19 fps over USB 2.0.

I captured (20 x 60s IR) + (10 x 60s R) and deleted 10 unsteady stacks. Final used 20 stacks @ 40%, or about 9,120 frames...

(14 x 60s IR) + (6 x 60s R)

I estimate seeing was around 1.6" FWHM.

IR Gain = 250
R Gain = 280
Cooling = -5C
