Description

A faint planetary nebula in Lynx. We can even see the white dwarf in the central region.

The general bowl shape is causing by uniform material ejection, i.e. a bow shock hitting the interstellar medium. While, an other formal designation, the Headphone, also shows its bipolar structure close to the region. And this is the sign of the host star's polar orientation.
