Description

Multistacking 5x (1500/12500).

The southern end of the terminator (this orientation is more natural) with an interesting composition of light and shade in the craters: Clavius and Blancanus. Schiller and Longomontanus are still in full sun and Tycho has been extracted into a pale ring. Chiaroscuro brings a lot of expression to the picture, he is the main actor and playwright. I like to observe these "thinning" craters at the edge - the monstrous Bailly and in front of him: Zucchius, Bettinus and Kircher, and on the left Klaproth, Casatus and Newton. The "carousel" of smaller craters in Clavius has an unusual appearance - they clearly run upwards, above the crater bottom, and one has the impression that these are bubbles in the tar slime that have just burst.
