Description

I show the first test of this very cheap telezoom lens (at least 2nd hand). there are 52 RAW from 60" to ISO 1600 F8, borttle 7. The photos were made without any type of lightpollution filter. The processing is very light, it doesn't even have maskedstrech of the pix because It turned the star cores roses and there was no way to correct it. It is just an STF with HistogragramTransformation and a bit of forced saturation.

Now my assessment of the objective, considering that second-hand costs 100 euros.

Weight: only 500 gr, it can literally be carried in the jacket pocket. (10/10)

Mounting: it is a bit complicated, it is necessary to make a small support to place the autoguide (with this focal distance it would not be necessary) and the camera in parallel in the jaw of the AZEQ6, but it is not complicated. (7/10)

Flat field: Distortion is noted as it moves away from the center of the image, distortion that can be corrected with the PS since this objective is predefined and can correct the distortion, but it must be done in the RAW one by one. (5/10)

Chromatic aberration: The objective has the APO cataloging and has three SLD crystals (low dispersion crystals) but they are not FPL-53, and it shows, especially when moving away from the center of the lens. This bug is also editable with PS. (5/10)

Focus: Although it has automatic focus when shooting to the sky it fails to focus except the moon, and it goes a little crazy. It takes manual focus that is very accurate. (8/10).

Diaphragm: The diaphragm is variable from f5.6 to f22. I consider this an advantage for lunar photography avoiding burning the image. The "sweet" point of the target according to the manufacturer is between f8 and f11. (8/10)

Extra: The spikes of the bright stars are quite original and I like them. (8/10)

Total score 7.5 / 10

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Puntuacion total 7.5/10
