Description

Hello Star Friends,

the area between the constellations Cassiopeia and Cepheus is rich in emission and other nebulae. a lot of Sharpless objects are included. My field of view goes to the top left of M52, Bubble Fog and Lobster Claw over the Wizard's Nebula (bottom center), in the top center is the cave, to Sh2-135 in the center right. The field radius is about 5.5 °

Essential Sharpless objects:
Sh2-155 - Cave Nebula, 2,400 light years away
Sh2-158 - 9 100 light years away
Sh2-162 - Bubble Nebula, 6,200 light years away
Sh2-158 - 9 100 light years away
Sh2-157 - Lobster Claw, 8,000 light years away
Sh2-152 - 8,000 light years away
Sh2-142 - Wizard Nebula, 7,000 light years away
Sh2-135 - 6,200 light years away

Visit from Murphy
When I made the OIII recordings on October 28th, Murphy was there too. Everything was nicely set up and went great. After the first recordings, I went in. 9:45 p.m. Check, Murphy strikes. The connection cable to the mount got stuck with the amplifying knob on the azimuth screw and the mount went out due to a broken cable. It just meant not giving up. Everything set up again. In the meantime the image section was close to the meridian, the mount did the meridian flip. A test shot looked OK. So keep using the great sky. It came together 55x240s until the moon interfered. With the 87x180s Ha from September there is a bicolor.

Thanks for looking and stay healthy!

Hallo Sternfreunde,

Wesentliche Sharpless Objekte:
Sh2-155 - Höhlen Nebel, 2 400 Lichtjahre entfernt
Sh2-158 - 9 100 Lichtjahre entfernt
Sh2-162 - Blasen Nebel, 6 200 Lichtjahre entfernt
Sh2-158 - 9 100 Lichtjahre entfernt
Sh2-157 - Hummerklaue, 8 000 Lichtjahre entfernt
Sh2-152 - 8 000 Lichtjahre entfernt
Sh2-142 - Zauberer Nebel, 7 000 Lichtjahre entfernt
Sh2-135 - 6 200 Lichtjahre entfernt

Also weiter den tollen Himmel nutzen.
