Description

One of the reasons I haven't shot in a long time was I had frustrations the last time I shot with my ASI120mc.

The night was perfect seeing, I had a great align, and I had no issues in focus.   I set up the capture at 30 FPS and I capture two captures of 7 X 1000 frames.

I got great captures and I downloaded them quickly to the computer.  Then I realized that the videos I captured from the ASI120mc were flashing colors and I thought I ruined a night of amazing captures.  I dropped them onto a portable hard drive and stopped doing captures for a bit, then the winter weather hit.

I fortunately when I was working on new captures, I saw the files.  I looked at them again, and after google searching I learned I must have captured in RAW AVI format.  This format needs to be manually de-bayered (sorting the color frames out in the image) and I found out how to do that in PIPP.  I am so excited because that means I can show what I saw that night.
