Description

Wolf's Cave Nebula - we've got a lot going on here!  The blue reflection nebula, VdB152, sits at the end of the large curved dark nebula, B175. The red filamentary structure belongs to an ancient supernova remnant and the planetary nebula known as Dengel-Hartl 5 is located in the upper right of frame. This dusty complex is located around 1400 light years away in the constellation of Cepheus.

Around 16 hours of exposure and some careful processing contributed to the final result. This was a first light for my 0.77 reducer on the Esprit 150, bringing the set up to f5.4 and 809mm focal length.  I have only cropped for stacking artefacts.
