Description

Messier 29 or NGC 6913

I think it very pretty open cluster. Discovered by Charles Messier in 1764, it is found in the constellation of Cygnus. It is fairly close at around 6-7,000 light years away and can be seen using binoculars. It is a relatively young system with an estimated age of around 10,000,000 years.
