This is my second target with my new little one. There are quite many areas that I could aim at right now, thought that this was the right choice since it gave me integration time from the start of the evening until around 1am (tree then in the way), and goal is always to have more than 10 hours per image. Little did I know, there were quite some wonderful images of the very same area coming out just the last week, please take a visit since they show wonderfully how different one can show this superb part of our galaxy:

As mentioned in the title, this area has so many targets to go for, amazing! Sometimes I wish that the Milky Way would be up all year long, I could - to be honest - skip the galaxy season 😊, well, with the scopes that I own those little wonders of the universe are hard to come by, and they do require LRGB, which is at Bortle 6-7 always a challenge, especially the gradients from the horizon.
The first processing trials did not produce the best results, I worked on this image more than the eye might catch, but whom do I tell this, I believe that most of us know this processing conundrum. All three channels had actually good signal, Hα of course the most, but the other 2 channels are important as well, OIII especially for IC410. RGB integration again with gain 0 RGB, the halos as in the first image popped up again with these filters, I will need to change a bit my imaging train and see then if they still exist. Focuser still not working the way it should, but I must admit, did not spend much time on it since clear skies are pretty rare right now, and I want to catch the last breaths of the Milky Way before it disappears in the evenings.
