Description

M6 the Butterfly Cluster in the good company of a number of Sharpless objects Sh2-15 thru Sh2-21. Between them all is a massive Halpha cloud painting the foreground stars red as they shine thru the hydrogen emission.

There is in addition a dark nebula presumed to be part of the pipe nebula blocking the background milky way stars except in a few areas one near M6 the other nrea Sh2 16 thru Sh2 21.

To me this is a very pleasing area worth exploring with larger instruments.

This is comprised of

(9) Halpha 5nm

(9) OIII 5nm

(9) SII 5nm

(9) Red Continuum 5nm

(9) Yellow 20nm
