Description

This image is an RGB_L centered on NGC3631 which lies between 35 and 50 mly away. There also seem to be dozens of tiny PGC galaxies showing as well. Although I acquired 244x180sec subframes in the end critical reduction to 177x180 subs gave a much better result. NGC3631 is a bit small for the 633mm focal length of the SW120 Esprit at F/5.2 but a wee bit of detail shows in the 2 major coiled arms.
