Description

IC 1284, also known as Sharpless 37 (Sh2-37), is an emission nebula located in the Sagittarius constellation, immediately south of the Small Sagittarius Star Cloud (M24), halfway between the Trifid Nebula (M20) and the Omega Nebula (M17).
Just below IC 1284 there are the  two blueish reflection nebulae vdB 118 (upper) and vdB 119 (lower).
