Description

While star-hopping to Uranus, I discovered the interesting galaxy NGC 810. What I really noticed was what looked like a star right next to it. After researching it a bit further, this is actually galaxy SDSS J020529.28+131503.5. I haven't found a great image of this pair, but the SDSS image has a peculiar dark linear feature through the center of the main galaxy. Is this for real? Do I see hints of it in my own image? This galaxy is said to have an active galactic nucleus. Hubble imaging team, please take an image of this galaxy! EDIT: Hubble did exactly that! The dark linear feature is real.

Several other galaxies appear in this image, the most prominent include: UGC 1584 (above NGC 810), UGC 1593 (to the left), and PCG 1424659 (to the right).
