Description

This is a mosaic made of two images of the south pole region of the 71% illuminated Moon.

Clavius (225km in diameter) at the edge of the terminator is of course immediately noticeable with its semicircular craters inside. Further towards the south is Moretus with its characteristic 2100m high central mountain. The crater rim of Malapert is just visible to the south at the horizon like a little Diamond. A little to the east is Scott with the smaller Scott E. Directly above, to the north, you can see Schomberger.

The image data are: Exposure 4.7ms / 5.2ms, gain 142 / 112, fps=55 avg., 214 / 59 frames out of 2x 20000, Bit-Depth=16Bit (12Bit ADC)

As always, I look forward to your constructive feedback and your recommendations.
