Description

Abell 52 is a practically never imaged planetary nebula in Aquila. This is the first image on Astrobin, and I found no color images on the web. Abell52 is small, measuring only 1.1 arc minutes and has a magnitude of 14. It is visible on the RGB image, and both Ha and Oiii show well with Oiii about 3 times stronger than Ha. The Ha and Oii are strong enough in the RGB version that it is fairly easy to duplicate the true colors with the NB version. This is everything I could find on the web about this PN. Very obscure. A prominent blue star is centered in Abell52, the apparent source for this PN.
