Description

«NGC 4236 is a barred spiral galaxy in Draco.(...)member of the M81 Group(...)»
 (From Wikipedia)
«(...)having a very low surface brightness, this galaxy is a challenging object.
(...)According to recent studies, NGC 4236 may also be the largest member
of its own small group, also including UGC 6456 and DDO 165.»
(From SkySafari Pro)

Mouseover:
I am fascinated by that small "chain" of galaxies (in POSS2: IRAS 12120 + 6838 (GGroup)):
from east to west: two (interacting) galaxies, one star, one Gx defined QSO.
Their distance from us amounts to over 800 million light years.
They appear, with a vague morphological hint, in the picture made from a 135mm lens !!
