Description

Here's an image taken from a Pro Data Set in Telescope Live of The Dolphin Nebula, also known as SH2-308. It's mostly HOO but I did add a bit of RGB for star color.  The data was taken with an ASA 500N/ FLI PL 16803 at El Sauce Observatory, Chile.  It's 6h 55min of 600s H & O subs and 300s RGB subs.
The Dolphin Nebula lies 5,200 light-years from Earth and has a diameter of 60 light-years (slightly larger than the full Moon).  It's located in the constellation Canis Major and is an HII region illuminated by the massive Wolf-Rayet star EZ Canis Majoris.
Hope ya like it!
Tom
