Description

NGC 2170 is a dusty blue reflection and red emission nebula with many dark absorption nebula in the constellation Monoceros. It's distance from Earth is approximately 2,400 light-years and it's age is thought to be between 6-10 million years.  This data is courtesy of Telescope Live's CHI-2 (ASA 500N/FLI PL 16803) scope at El Sauce Observatory, Chile.  It's only 1hr of each LRGB subs @600s.  I'd like to get more data, cause this is a very colorful nebula!
Hope ya like it, so far!
Tom
