Description

NGC 2403 is a barred spiral galaxy in Camelopardalis. It a member of the M81 group and has many HII star forming regions, among it NGC2404 which is huge with 2000 light years across. I have found conflicting numbers for its distance, even on Wikipedia: between 8 and 12 million light years.

I am finally coming to grips with the RASA: Collimation is a lot better now, and I have controlled tilt. I still want to do mono narrowband with it, but it is far easier to do OSC. I might try a dual narrowband filter once there is one available that is suitable for f/2.2.
