Ngc3344, surnommée la galaxie de l’oignon coupé.

Elle se situe ds la constellation du petit lion a 20 millions d’année lumière. Grâce aux images d’hubble, On sait que cette galaxie spirale (faiblement barrée) est 2X plus petite que la Voie lactée. Elle ne mesure que 6’54’’ d’arc d’où le challenge pour la shooter car il n’y a que très peu de référence photographique. (À part hubble et Adam Block...)

Concernant la prise de vue, rien ne vous choque?

Normalement tout! Car ce fut sportif.

Je suis complètement sur-échantillonné avec cette configuration et ma lunette guide n’est pas adaptée avec cette focale ramenée à 1645mm.

Je voulais essayer avec un OAG prévu pour les shoots à cette focale mais je n’ai pas réussi à avoir la map entre ma caméra principale et secondaire. (En attendant la zwo asi mini du coup😉).

J’ai été hyper sélectif concernant ma couche Luminance. Je l’ai mixée (avec un masque) avec le Ha pour avoir les petites zones colorées magenta qui sont de véritables pouponnières d’étoiles.

L’assemblage RVB fut assez classique même si peu de référence. J’ai donc utilisé photometriccolorcalibration sur Pix.

Il aura fallu 2 jours de prétraitement et traitement pour ce résultat qui me plaît en espérant ne pas l’avoir dénaturée.

Ngc3344, nicknamed the galaxy of the cut onion.

It is located in the constellation of the little lion at 20 million light years away. Thanks to the images of hubble, we know that this spiral galaxy (weakly barred) is 2X smaller than the Milky Way.

It measures only 6’54 ’’ of arc from where the challenge to shoot it because there is very little photographic reference.(Except hubble and Adam Block ...)

Regarding the shooting, nothing shocks you?

Normally everything! Because it was complicated.

I am completely oversampled with this configuration and my guide scope is not suitable with this focal length reduced to 1645mm.

I wanted to try with an OAG planned for shoots at this focal length but I couldn't manage to have the map between my main and secondary camera. (While waiting for the zwo asi mini😉).

I was very selective about my Luminance layer. I mixed it (with a mask) with the Ha to have the small magenta colored areas which are real nurseries of stars.

The RGB assembly was fairly classic even if there was little reference. So I used photometriccolorcalibration on Pix.

It took 2 days of pretreatment and treatment for this result which I like, hoping not to have distorted it.
