Description

Note : with the first use of "remove magenta star" script I realize that star colors are quite OK in the straight SHO image as compared to what I can improve applying RGB colors on stars.

Process in PI :

For each S, H, O, R, G, B channels :
- Images Calibration (Dark and Flat)
- Cosmetic Correction
- Image Registration
- Image Integration
- Mure Denoise (for RGBSHO)
Then :
- Create SHO image and color balance on nebula
- Apply "remove magenta star script" with 0.8 attenuation
- Create RGB image and color balance on stars
- DBE SHO & RGB images
- Deconvolution of SHO & RGB images using 2.0 psf
- Delinearisation using HT of both SHO & RGB images
- SCNR of SHO image
- Color Saturation range masked (and desaturate bkg) of both images
- Create a star mask using starnet++ on L channel of the RGB image
- Apply "a" & "b" color channels of the RGB image to the SHO image under star mask
(this is to apply natural color to the stars) (for the second image only)
- TGV denoise (no mask)
- Deflip

Final image adjustments performed in Photo on Imac :
- levels adjustments
- adjust color looking using "selective color"
- boost sharpness & definition
- crop
