Description

Two very distinct trails of nebulosity being blown backward due to the high-energy release of stellar wind from cluster NGC-1893, the "Tadpoles" are best captured with an H-alpha filter, as depicted here. Located in Auriga the Charioteer, they are part of a larger nebula region, catalogued as IC-410, and humorously known by the moniker "The Neanderthal Nebula".
