Description

This image was quite complicated to process: if you look at the integrated image, despite flats, there is a huge gradient and lots of reflections




This is because I didn't use a filter, nor did I use a dew shield which would have limited the reflection from the moon. I had hard times getting a "clean" image out of this, and despite truncating a lot of signal, those are still visible in the final image.

Nevertheless, it's an interesting galaxy to image, obviously looking close to the famous needle galaxy (NGC 4565)!
