Description

Comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) remains in Ursa Major as of October 2, 2021.

I have not been able to image it since May as I have been following it since January 2021 when it was discovered. With all the fires we had for the past four months and the comets relative position have prevented me to acquire updates of its position.

I was able to image three 5-min Lum light-pollution filter subs just before dawn the other morning. Just after completing an evening run on an open cluster.

The comets head continues to brighten and the tail is getting longer. This is becoming more noticeable since my image I uploaded and I did not have to annotate its position in this picture.
