Description

Well, this is what I managed to eek out over the last few months, the weather has been awful. I had a number of additional clear nights that I was using to get my new mount configured and running; the new mount is probably why the weather has been so dreadful . With only a couple nights, I managed to squeeze out a small amount of dark dust.

Anyway, I seen some widefield shots of these two nebulae and I wanted to give it a shot. I really wanted to get at least 3 or 4 more nights that I could shoot Ha subs. I still have some time and I may be able to pull it off, fingers crossed. I was planning to use the Ha data as a luminance channel. One thing I was curious about is if anyone knows any tricks to align the sensor orientation when switching cameras. I have a camera rotator on the back of the set-up, but I do not believe I can use the markings because the threads on both cameras will not tighten in the same orientation. I'm thinking I just need to eye ball it and accept that I'll need to crop some of the image. If anyone has a good system, please let me know.
